The 2026 FIFA World Cup has already been full of crazy moments and a few surprises. With the knockout stages now beginning, I wanted to share my thoughts on the tournament so far.
My Thoughts So Far
This year’s tournament has been brilliant to watch. We’ve seen some huge performances, a few shock results. I've been the most shocked with Cape Verde and South Africa who i did not expect to get through their group.
As a football shirt collector, it’s also been great seeing the variety of kits on display.
With the knockout rounds about to begin, here are my predictions:
🏆 World Cup Winners: France
⚽ Golden Boot: Ousmane Dembele
⭐ Player of the Tournament: Ousmane Dembele
🐎 Dark Horse: Norway
Of course, the World Cup always throws up surprises, so it’ll be interesting to see how these predictions hold up over the next few weeks.
